Shruti Consulting LLC is owned by Shruti Costales (she/her) who has over 20 years of experience providing strategic services to law firms and corporations in the diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) space. Her experience includes working in various industries and with a variety of different clients.
Recently, Shruti was responsible for supply chain transactions totaling billions of dollars at a Fortune 50 technology company. At this technology company, Shruti was a leader of the legal DEI committee and she helped create programs to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization. She was a DEI committee leader in the legal department for another Fortune 100 technology company where she was one of the few individuals responsible for implementing various diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in the legal department.
Currently, Shruti is on a board of a non-profit organization that focuses on improving inclusion of all in the patent profession.
Shruti is a recognized inclusion expert and DEI thought leader in the legal profession. She has led or co-led various volunteer organizations' DEI committees. She has generated various white papers and guides on a variety of DEI issues. Shruti has nearly two decades of experience handling various corporate and law firm DEI issues including but not limited to DEI internal policies, DEI public notices, and internal guidelines to support various inclusion, retention, and development efforts while balancing applicable laws and supporting equity in the workplace.
